Buff Willow is cropped mainly during November. It is the most popular and is obtained by boiling the willow. The bark is then stripped from the willow giving a golden colour. Double Steamed Willow is the same as buff except it is boiled twice to give a dark richer colour. Green Willow is willow that has gone through no treatment process. Green stands for its raw state and not always its colour.
